RESPONSIBILITIES:

The campsite lies in a nature reserve and is owned by the Brabant Landscape and Scouting Labelcampsite Buitenlust foundation, which is responsible for the coordination and the management of the campsite by members of Scouting Holland or similar organisations.
The site is exclusively for campers. The warden is authorized to permit exceptions to the rules in specific cases.

The Scouting Labelcampsite Buitenlust foundation is not responsible for loses or missing belongings, either personal or group-owned.
In situations in which these rules and regulations do not apply, the warden decides what to do.

RESERVATIONS:

Reservations can be made final when the application form is returned to the warden and after the deposit has been paid.

 

CAMP RECOGNITION:

One group leader per age group must have the proper recognition of Scouting Holland in his/her possession. Name and number of the proper recognition has to be demonstrable upon request. Upon arrival the camp form has to be demonstrated as well.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE:

Upon arrival you must report to the warden. He will also appoint the location where the group/you should make camp.

Each group is obligated to have the camp area inspected by the warden when they depart.

Inflicted damage to the grounds and buildings will be deducted from the deposit. Should the damage exceed the deposit, then the remaining amount is to be paid.

The deposit, or the remaining amount of money will be paid back to you at departure.

CAMPSITES:

Camping is merely allowed on the permitted grounds/fields.
For groups, the following sites are available:
Pinsen, Kostka, het Groene Veld, Moermont, Roovere.

Camping on other than the above mentioned locations is not allowed.

The Douglas site is used for short-term campers with small tents.

Pets, are not allowed.

Digging is prohibited.

Aggregates are forbidden.

It is not allowed to gather wood from the forest without the warden´s permission.
Damaging of trees and/or shrubbery is prohibited.

It is not allowed to make noise after 23:00 pm and before 07:00 am.

It is not allowed to stoke up a fire outside the appropriate camp fire ring.

It is not allowed to cause noise nuisance.

To prevent damage to the natural surroundings, we advise to stay on the tracks.
These paths are marked by coloured track marks.

It is not allowed to enter the wooded area by car, motor or moped.

You can unload your car on the path, after unloading you must park your car at the parking space at the entrance. Two hand carts are available for heavy luggage.
The parking place is not meant for camping activities.

CAMPFIREPLACE:

You have to confer with the warden if you want to stoke up fires.
You have to ask for permission at least a day before.
The warden will then supply a permit accordingly.
Everything has to be cleaned up afterwards. The used wood has to be left behind at the campfire ring.

During camp fires, extinguishers, amongst which fire extinguishing water and foam, have to be within reach.

LITTER AND TOILET FACILITIES:

GLASS, CANS, PAPER, BATTERIES or other CHEMICAL WASTE has to be disposed of at the refuse dump, All other waste has to be disposed of at the office in a dustbin.

Old commodities such as tables, chairs, coaches etc. cannot be left behind.

The Central toilet and shower facility can only be used for the purpose they are intended for.

One toilet will be allocated to 25 persons max. The leader of the group will have the use of the key to this toilet.

During the camping period, the group will remain responsible for proper use of the facilities. They also have to keep the facilities clean at all times.

The use of chemical toilets is not allowed.

Drinkable water can be taken from the toilet facilities.

The washing accommodation has electric power for electric shavers.

When you want to use the shower, you can obtain shower coins from the warden.

SURROUNDINGS:

It is not allowed to enter the neighbouring grounds of the psychiatric hospital Vrederust after 21:00 pm.

Within the Buitenlust area and the municipal forest are of Bergen op Zoom, one is obliged to follow the rules of the opening of the nature reserve to the public.
